Celebrating your Quince Años is a magical time for you and we think that a celestial-themed party is perfect for your big day. In this week's Teen Tuesday blog, we'll discuss ways to incorporate the stars into your party.
As with any celebration, selecting your invitation is an important choice because it sets the mood and gives your guests their first impression of your special day.
The nighttime sky is portrayed in this invitation which features the photographs of your choice along with stars of varying sizes. You can almost see the stars twinkle! There's ample room on the inside of this invitation to list your wording and court of honor.
This invitation displays a young lady dancing with the stars as she celebrates her Quince Años. While shown here in pale pink, this invitation is also available in pearl and light blue. When opened, the invitation depicts 14 damas in matching gowns. There's room for your wording and court of honor information.
Now that you've selected the perfect invitation, it's time to start planning your party. Decorating your venue will be fun because there are so many great options available. You can have an archway for your entrance that has twinkle stars around it, or an archway with crescent moons on either side. Clear twinkle lights may be wrapped around pillars and hung from the ceiling.
Celestial centerpieces are easy and inexpensive to make. Take black construction paper and cut out crescent moons and then cut stars out of white construction paper. Spray paint the stars silver or gold. Brush on a light layer of glue to the moon and stars and then add glitter. Attach the moon and stars to both sides of a wooden ice cream stick which are cut to varying lengths. Place green Styrofoam into a shallow star-shaped glass bowl and insert the sticks into it. Cover the foam with green moss that has star confetti sprinkle atop.
We hope that these ideas have provided inspiration for you celestial-themed quinceañera.
