Graduation Announcement Wording

The time of the year we all look forward to at Invitations4Less is quickly approaching- the season that is alive with the hustle and bustle of parties and springtime celebrations. The planning has already started for many. A select group out there is about to experience a true passage into independence. Graduation!!! There isn't any other time like it. A bittersweet time for parents and a triumphant time for seniors. A time where accomplishment meets independence, and independence meets hope and excitement for the future.

Most mark this occasion with an announcement or an invitation to a party or open house. But everyone wants to do it differently. This will be my eighth graduation season with Invitations4Less. Times have certainly changed from when I started. We continue to cherish the traditional graduation announcements and embrace the upswing of the photo announcement. In recent years, we have unveiled our customized announcements created by our own graphic artist, Jeanne. For the traditional high school graduate, to homeschool and college graduates, the 2011 Graduation Announcement line has more to offer than ever.

We have seen so many changes to style and format throughout the years. But one thing has remained constant and that is the wording and personalization of the Graduation Announcement.

Where to start?
Is your class announcing their Commencement Ceremony? Or perhaps you have just completed your second degree in college and look forward to letting your friends and family know you "did it" in a subtle, casual manner. The act of accepting a diploma might be similar for most graduates, but make no mistake; the accomplishment has a different meaning for each and needs to be announced in one's own words. Below you will see some suggestions I have found to be most popular throughout the years.
