One of my favorite commercials of all time was for an office-supply store and it ran around this time of year.

The commercial begins with the rising refrain from a familiar Christmas song crooning, "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" set against the empty aisles of an office-supply store and we're all wondering what this is about. After all, it's only August! Suddenly, a man appears on the screen, not just pushing his cart, but fairly dancing through the aisles in apparent overwhelming glee. As he tosses staplers and sticky notes into his cart with unabashed joy, his two young children look on with faces revealing their dread at the prospect of another summer coming to an end. As a mom, myself, I could relate to this father's enthusiasm for the return of the order and structure in the household associated with the return to school.

As all of us at Invitations4Less.com prepare for back-to-school in our own families, we're also keeping in mind that what begins must end. Before we know it, spring will be upon us and seniors will be clamoring for graduation announcements and all the accessories that mark the passing of their high school careers, such as senior photo portfolios, memory books, and senior pride apparel. We're focusing our attention on what's new in the marketplace and working to bring the best in all things graduation 2011 for your senior.

The latest trends in graduation announcements point to the fact that graduates are seeking ways to express their individuality when sending out their notices to family and friends. Gone are the days of same old - same old. Today's graduates seek fresh takes on traditional announcements such as options that include bold color choices, photos printed right on the announcement and more graphic layouts. In many cases, school colors are eschewed for personal favorite colors and mascots have been replaced with icons of extra-curricular activities.

We're excited to watch as the new options are unveiled for the 2011 graduations and we'll be working hard to make them available to the students as soon as possible!
