Pantone, LLC, the world's leading authority on color and provider of professional color standards for the design industries, announced on Thursday that PANTONE® 18-2120 Honeysuckle is the color of the year for 2011. We'll be seeing Honeysuckle everywhere, from home decorating, to apparel, and even in social stationery. Invitations4Less.com has several offerings to keep you up-to-date with the latest trends in color and design for your invitations.

A charismatic reddish pink with the slightest hint of orange, Honeysuckle, is uplifting and alive with courage to face our everyday woes. This is an outright contrast to the 2010 color of the year, PANTONE 15-5519 Turquoise, which served as an escape for many.

"In times of stress, we need something to lift our spirits. Honeysuckle is a captivating, stimulating color that gets the adrenaline going – perfect to ward off the blues," explains Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®. "Honeysuckle derives its positive qualities from a powerful bond to its mother color red, the most physical, viscerally alive hue in the spectrum."

If you are planning a wedding for 2011, the Apple Blossom Wedding Invitation incorporates shades of honeysuckle:

The Sakura Wedding Invitation combines Asian-styling with eco-friendly recycled paper:

For those searching for a fun and modern Bat Mitzvah invitation, the Metamorphosis Bat Mitzvah Invitation is the perfect choice. The fun colors of honeysuckle and orange appear on a lively butterfly design:

In keeping with the Metamorphosis theme, this invitation would make a perfect Sweet Sixteen or Quince Años invitation:.
